Sister Cities International launches new brand

In order to better promote the work of our members, Sister Cities International has launched a new logo, tagline and website. A fresh and modern brand will enhance our communications outreach and increase our ability to share the power of our sister cities network with the entire world.

The new logo symbolizes connectivity with the crisscrossing lines on the globe representing the wide spectrum of our member connections. The tagline, “Connect Globally. Thrive Locally.” encapsulates the essence of the work of our members in connecting communities globally for beneficial relationships.

Additionally, the new, state-of-the-art website has a host of new tools catered specifically to assist members with local program administration. The members-only area of the website will allow dues paying programs to update and maintain contact information; edit their public profile information and access webinars and toolkits. The website will also include interactive features like an events calendar, sister-city world map, and “Find a Sister City” tool. The website will be a one-stop-shop to read member stories, press-releases and keep up-to-date on the latest happenings in the sister city network.

The professional look will enable us to better advocate the work of our sister city network.  It will not only serve our members but also appeal to wide ranging audiences worldwide including the next generation of citizen diplomats.

The new brand will further Sister Cities International’s momentum as we continue to work towards strengthening global citizenship.
